It was disturbing, Rachel. These were perfectly healthy dogs being toted around like toddlers.

Sometimes I think... this is gonna sound really awful and judgemental, but sometimes I think those people should just go ahead and have some kids. Instead of dressing dogs up in sweaters and putting them in strollers and stuff.

I fear if those people did have children, though. What sort of person does that to a dog? Is that the type we want raising the next generation of the world?

I think maybe they're scared of the responsibility. So many people, before, felt like they didn't have to be responsible for anything, right? And so then people just don't know how to be responsible anymore. A dog seems like less of a committment, I guess.

I don't... exactly know. But I bet I could figure it out. Sometimes people just need a good example, or they need somebody to believe in them.

If I can't figure it out on my own I can always pray for guidance. That's gotten me through a lot.
