I've been working with an organization which monitors a rift that's gotten torn in time & space. Frankly, I wouldn't be surprised if Hiro's to blame, no matter what anyone else says, but that's neither here or there. Anyway--occasionally things get pulled through this rift from the past or future or other dimensions or planets or whatever.
You showed up the other day. Seventeen year old you. From that day at the beach. Clearly, if you're still here, being you, and our past happened as we recall it rather than you just disappearing from history, which is what usually happens with these things, something very odd is going on.
