NaF -- Really nothing I needed to hear right now. Or maybe I did. I don't know. It's a stupid internet thing.

Do you believe in me or some "stupid internet thing"?

Not exactly the reassurance I had hoped for with all we're going through.

I believe in you, Peter. Very much more than the stupid internet thing. It was just...a bit thought provoking in the hour of the wolf. Not in a bad way, though. Just a strange sort of way. This is why one should not do internet quizzes at 3 AM.

If you say so. I mean, I am changing. Things are changing. Are you adverse to that?

No, I'm not adverse to change. I wouldn't have done well in life if I was. I'm trying to do so myself, after all.

Then why assume the changes would be something bad?

Given I change every time I come in contact with someone with abilities, why worry?

That pessimism I'm working on overcoming? I do fine during the day, but I've far too much time to think at night, spiraling back down to the darker thoughts.

It's a work in progress.

I do belive in you, Adam and your ability to change and overcome like you want to.

Thank you, Peter. I believe in you, too.

You do know you could have looked at the other answers as deeply as that one that upset you so much and perhaps seen something different.

Do you feel that's how things are because of our talk? That I'm leaving?

I actually did. That was part of the...somewhat eerie. It wasn't just the first thing, but how they all sort of played together. Having a family member now. Learning to ask for help instead of taking things on myself alone. And maybe after recent experiences, remembering who I was back then...that core of wanting to be a hero, to make a difference in a good way--the, it was there all along, but I'd buried it. Only now I'm forced to confront it.

You truly thought it might mean I was leaving you though?

The internet meme? No, Peter. I didn't think it meant you were leaving me. I wouldn't blame you if you did, but as much as I believe impossible things are possible, I really don't think an internet meme can predict that.
