OOC -- Back

Hey folks,

I'm officially back home safe and sound and rested from an amazing and much needed trip. Of course, I came back to a pile of work and to needing to honor the commitment I made at the workshop to have my novel ready for submission by Nov 5, so, still expect me to be slow. There may be some paring down of less plotty things yet again, and I may possibly be dropping a prompt community or five to get things under control, so bear with me as I shift into busy lawyer/writer/Board member (gah, must redo bylaws by weekend!) mode. I feel a bit of a dork with the continual apologies when I know RL always comes first, etc, but when change comes I just feel it's best to prepare everyone, as I think only 2 people on this list have actually been through this with me before.

I appreciate you letting us know! :) Of course, as you said, RL comes first, but it's still helpful to get an update so we can expect some slow times and such. :D.

:-D I have every intention of still continuing playing and getting back to the threads I've got going--ours included. I just need to find a rhythm for it all so I'm not neglecting work and my other commitments. I definitely want to keep going with the Lauren/Sark thread, and should have a tag to you tonight or tomorrow at the latest. Thank you for being so patient with me--we just started playing as my busiest time of the year started!

Glad to hear you had fun! Of course, now you have to deal with work hell, but it should be a bit easier to handle with a fresh mind/spirit.
