Okay. That sort of answered why Peter liked him. He didn't see that bad. He'd healed Nathan like she'd saved Noah. That earned brownie points. The Company was bad; she didn't know much about it, but she knew that much. And she'd heard enough about her grandfather to know he was a bad man.
Claire took a sip of her drink, allowing it to go to her head for a second. It was all surreal. How could this man who knew so many people in her life have escaped her notice?
"I see. Nobody's ever mentioned you to me. Why is that, if you were so involved with people in my life?"
There was still something that was a little off, something missing, but she didn't know what it was.
