Stolen from
soundofmurder with a twist -- Meta List of what I ado
Because spreading the love is always more positive than the hate, and it is that time of the year.
1. Melissa Talmadge -- She's got everyone thinking she's so sweet and innocent, and I suppose she is on one level. But that girl's got a darkness in her that I just want to plumb the depths of, breaking her down into smaller and smaller pieces of shadows, and then rebuild her. I want to do things to her that are illegal in most countries, until she screams, then begs me to hurt her just a little bit more. That seed of darkness underneath all that light? The way she pushes it down, ignores it, lets it grow...I want to be there when it explodes. I can almost taste it, and I'm willing to wait.
2. Wesley Wyndam-Pryce -- The boy locked the woman who slit his throat in a cage in a closet with nothing but a bucket for months, then regularly fucked his mortal enemy on the other side of the door. That is a well defined sense of vengeance I can appreciate in a person, and that he did it all in the name of the greater good just makes me want to be his best friend.
3. Methos -- Do you know what he was? He was Death. Death on a horse. When mothers warned their children that the monster would get them, that monster was him. He was the nightmare that kept them awake at nights. Is that what you want to hear?
4. Surreal SaDiablo -- She's a woman who knows her way around a man, and a woman who understands the finer points of vengeance. She skinned her father--alive--and fed him to hell hounds to get vengeance for her mother's rape. Not a woman to cross, but certainly one to admire.
5. Martha Jones -- She had the strength and fortitude to walk away from that horrid Doctor who thinks he has the right to toss people into eternal suspension of prisons. And she likes Jack. She gets points for liking Jack. Everyone should like Jack.
6. Gaius Baltar -- He gave his lover the codes needed to destroy his world, starting everything again. He knows where the future lies, and led humanity toward it, even if they kicked and screamed. Besides, he has that very hot blonde in his head, and I have to envy him that. I like insane visionaries. We should have a drink sometime.
7. Malcolm Reynolds -- He'll do anything for his crew, for the people who put their trust in him. He's not afraid to do what needs to be done, and knows that sometimes breaking the rules is what you have to do.
8. Anya Jenkins -- This is a girl who understands the pain of spurned love, and the lengths one sometimes has to go to to get vengeance and heal. We understand each other, she and I, and she's a joy to talk to.
9. Lord Byron -- He's not afraid to defy convention. He doesn't balk at speaking his mind. He will scream his defiance at the heavens, and pull you along with him, whether you want to go or not. Besides, he's a fabulous shag, and always has the best whiskey on hand.
10. Kaylee Frye -- Ahh...not my usual taste, you say? But she is sweet, and genuine, with none of the airs that others put on. You know where you stand with her, and that is a rare thing in a woman. Plus, she understands loneliness--and if that pretty doctor of hers doesn't do something about that little problem she has with not having anything "twixt her nethers" for the past year that wasn't run on batteries--it would not be a hardship to volunteer.
All of which is to say--my mun really does have amazing taste in muses, doesn't she?
