He still wasn't completely certain how he had managed to convince Bennet to actually meet him, finally. It helped to have some pull to get him out and about, thanks to his favorite little blonde. He'd started talking to him almost out of idle curiosity. Someone who knew the Company almost as well as he did, who'd turned on them. Who'd raised Claire...
Then he got more fascinated by the contradictions in the man, how anyone so young still could be someone who understood Adam as well as the other man seemed to. They had more in common than one would have though on the surface, and that was always amusing to discover.
So. Drinks, actual conversation, and maybe the man would lighten up enough to finally do more than talk. Either way, he was certain it would at least be an interesting evening.
