And the madness is starting...
For those who do not know, I am a legislative attorney. This means, when the Legislature is not in Session, I work happy little government employee hours of 800-430 and have a life. When the Legislature IS in Session, or when we are gearing up for Session, I work crazy hours, eat all my meals at my desk, and sometimes don't get out of the office 'til 2 AM, like if I worked at a firm.
We are starting to gear up for Session.
We're not at the crazy-crazy hours yet, but our first bill drafts will be handed out tomorrow, and we have three weeks to get a whole slew of them done to meet September's goals.
What this means for RP -- I will be slower. I will be a bit more sporadic. I am not dropping pups or storylines this time (As I did last time, for those who were around with my Byron, Methos and Wesley), or dropping out of prompt communities, as of yet (as I did last time). I am going to try and balance it all, and keep on top of things, because this is my funtimes, and there will be downtime in which it's nice to have stuff going on.
I am also on the Board of Directors for the theatre I perform at, now, and a chairman of a committee, so that's going to take up a lot more time, as well.
So--please be patient with me. If I drop less plotty stuff, or seem sporadic in tagging, just bear with me. If there is something you really need one of my pups for so I am not holding your pup up--email, IM or comment on a post and let me know and I will make that a priority. If I seem to be tagging a lot with one pup when you know I have threads with the others--sometimes it's really hard for me to work + juggle multiple muses, so Sark may get one day, then Mohinder, then Adam, then Melissa, then back around, or some such. I'm not deliberately ignoring anyone, and I will get back to things that are important.

As far as time frame goes? We are gearing up now through January, and Session runs February - June, so this is the long haul here, and it will just get busier as time goes by. Then, come July, I will have literally NOTHING to do and be all, "OMG THREAD WITH ME NOW BEFORE I DIE OF BOREDOM." For reals. *nods* Thanks for hanging in there with me. :-D
