Peter found himself easily deep in thought, his brown eyes lifting up to stare into Adam's blue ones. He wondered if this would happen to him and it made him unsure if he really wanted to go through it. He absorbed Adam's ability and there was that good chance that Peter wouldn't age anymore - that he would stay the same way forever and have to watch the world change and go on. Whether or not he would change with it was beyond him at the moment, he couldn't say for sure.
"Never again?" That made him perk up, breaking Peter away from what he was thinking. It was easy to say that he wanted to find that person as well, wanted to feel that love that nobody wanted to give him.
