Apparently computers can get infected with viruses, which is just bizarre.

Apparently mine has.

I keep getting windows popping up with all sorts of things I have no interest in seeing, let alone hearing.

How do I make it stop?



ooc: Coming out of discussion with Angela where she attempted to explain safe internet surfing and safe sex at the same time, both of which baffled Adam to no end.

Adam's eyes widen, just a bit, at the sound but he watches the movie, reading the words, frowning a bit.

"So much has already happened? What is this empire, and are we just supposed to accept they're evil? Why?"

"Because they are. Their actions will show you."

Adam looks a bit skeptical, but grabs a handful of popcorn and eats it, watching thoughtfully. He frowns a bit at Vader, watching Leia and their interaction with interest.

"Why did it say Episode IV at the beginning?"

"Because it was supposed to be the middle group of stories. When it first came out, it did not say that. It was only 'Star Wars'. But it was popular enough that they allowed the second trilogy to be made. Then they did the first trilogy, but it was not as good."

"Huh." He fell quiet again, watching as the story unfolded. "This Luke person whines a lot."

"Children of that age often complain about their lives."

"He has a family who loves him, enough to eat, clothes, new droids, and friends. He has nothing to complain about."

"He wants to see what is beyond the farm."

Adam scowled a bit, then snuggled down a little closer to Hiro, offering him the popcorn.

"That's no reason to use that tone of voice. He'd have gotten beaten for it when I was growing up."

In Japan his father would have given him a look and he would not complain.

"Yes, well. Someone needs to do something," Adam said, giving the poor fictional boy a rather fierce scowl.

"He will get better later." Hiro snatches more popcorn.

"Promise me that," Adam says giving him a wary look.

"I promise. Do you want something to drink? If I don't have it here, I can get it from the machine downstairs."

"A drink might be good." He smiled a little "Whatever you have is fine."

"I have beer, tequila, sake (but it's not warm), whiskey or coke or tea if you don't want alcohol."

"Whiskey sounds perfect," Adam said with a slight smile.

Hiro goes to the small kitchen and pulls out an unopened bottle of whiskey and two glasses. He hops back onto the couch, opens the bottle and fills the glasses about half full. "It's not top of the line, but it should do."
