You try thirty years of torture and isolation and see if it doesn't take you a little bit of time to get your priorities straight, Peter. I was angry. I was hurting. I wanted vengeance, and I was blind to the fact that I had something far better than that...that I had the chance for healing instead. And I am very sorry for that, and very sorry that you got caught in the cross fire. It is one of the biggest regrets of all of my life.

Honestly? Nothing all that interesting. *makes a bit of a face, rueful* I lost 30 years of time--news, culture, technology. I've sort of been trying to catch up.

What have you caught up with so far?

I'm taking a computer class. And I've been doing a lot of reading to try and get the political nuances I missed. Honestly, the 80s seem like mostly a wasted decade.

Pop culture is by far the most difficult though--I'm not certain what's even worth my time.
